What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets your favorite LLM connects to tools and data sources from external services. Flow402 offers an MCP server that allows you to interact with its endpoints directly from your AI agent.

Chat mode lets you use MCP in ChatGPT conversations. Check ChatGPT Developer Mode for the latest requirements.

Enable Developer Mode

Open ChatGPT and go to Settings -> Connectors
Under Advanced settings, toggle the Developer mode.

Create Connector

In Settings -> Connectors, click Create.
Enter Flow402 for the Name and https://mcp.flow402.net for the Server URL.
Select No authentication.
Check I understand and want to continue.
Click Create.

Use in Chat

Start a new chat.
Click on +, then More and select the new Flow402 connector.
Now you can use Flow402 tools.

Examples:

“Give me the list of supported networks.”
“Verify that there is a payment of 1 USDC on Solana network from 0xPAYER_ADDRESS to 0xMERCHANT_ADDRESS.”
“Settle a payment for intent pi_1xB8cK.”

Add the Connector

Navigate to the Connectors in settings.
Select Add custom connector.
Enter Flow402 for the Name and https://mcp.flow402.net for the URL.
Select Add.

Use Connector

When using Claude, select the attachments button (+ icon).
Select Flow402 new connector.

Install the MCP Server

In Cursor, go to File -> Preferences -> Cursor Settings.
Select Tools & MCP menu entry.
Click on New MCP Server.
If you haven’t got one already, a new mcp.json file will open.
Add Flow402 MCP to it. You should have this code:

Use in Agent mode

Open a new Chat, and select Agent mode.
Now you can use Flow402 tools.

Examples:

“Using Flow402 tools, give me the list of supported networks.”

Install the MCP Server

Create a .vscode/mcp.json file in your workspace.
Add Flow402 MCP to it. You should have this code:
